The Frimer First Generation Student Scholarship is being awarded to an incoming or current college student seeking a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university who has demonstrated an impact of leadership, entrepreneurship, and/or volunteerism in their local or campus community. To qualify as a first-generation student, the applicant’s parents/guardians must not have completed a four-year college or university degree. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must self-identify as Jewish. Previous attendance at Hillel events is NOT a requirement for this scholarship.

- January 9, 2025 — Hillel International scholarship applications open
- March 3, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST — Application deadline
- March–June 2025 — All applicants are reviewed by the Hillel International Scholarship Program committee
- June 2025 — Award recipients are chosen and recipients announced
